Owner & Lead Photographer
With over 30 years of photography experience, Darla Clarkson brings a heartfelt blend of creative vision and technical excellence to life’s most meaningful moments. As the founder and lead photographer of Darla Divine Photography, she specializes in capturing the beauty, emotion, and connection behind weddings, elopements, and life’s milestone celebrations—big or small.
Her passion for storytelling runs deep, shaped by decades behind the lens, professional training, and a lifelong love for the art of photography. She is a PPA Certified Professional Photographer—an achievement that reflects her ongoing commitment to craft, care, and excellence.
Known for her calming presence and intuitive approach, Darla gently guides her clients in front of the camera, allowing them to feel seen, celebrated, and completely themselves. Whether she’s documenting the joy of a wedding day, the glow of an expectant mother, or the quiet beauty of a moment, Darla’s work is filled with intention, warmth, and timeless artistry.
Outside of photography, Darla is a devoted wife, proud mother, loving daughter, and Mimi. Family is at the center of everything she does. Her deep care for people is the heart behind her business—and it shows in every image she creates.
Rose Eckes
Studio Manager & Photo Assistant
Rose is an undergraduate student at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), majoring in Film and Television with a minor in Photography. Originally from Kansas, she moved to Savannah to be closer to both the ocean and the vibrant creative community.
For over two years, Rose has worked alongside Darla Clarkson as both an assistant photographer and studio manager at Darla Divine Photography.
She brings a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of visual storytelling to each project, often contributing to the art direction on set. Beyond her work with Darla Divine Photography, Rose is an emerging film producer. She recently wrapped production on her first feature film and has produced several short films, demonstrating her passion for crafting meaningful stories through both still and moving images.

Editor & Drone Specialist
With over a decade of experience as a Photoshop specialist, [Crystal] brings expert-level skill and creativity to every project. She studied Photoshop and digital photography for two years in college and continues to stay ahead of the curve with training in cutting-edge AI photo editing technology. Whether it’s enhancing portraits to help clients look their absolute best, creating timeless wedding edits, or seamlessly adding a loved one into a special moment they couldn’t attend, she’s known for delivering high-quality, emotionally resonant results. Whatever Photoshop needs, she’s ready to help make the vision a reality.
